I suppose if someone wanted to sell their blocks for collectors to frame or something, that it gives a neat look. But we'll see how this pine block holds up in the printing process before I give it any sort of recommendations to use.
Bette.Bette Norcross Wappner --https://www.blogger.com/profile/04458670015305220788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287754040463419063.post-64111189451649396462010-03-03T08:57:59.524-08:002010-03-03T08:57:59.524-08:00Betty,

I love the way it makes the woodblock look like a work of art in itself!
Lynn StarunLynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15085450208306244323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287754040463419063.post-8952453335741232462010-03-03T07:07:11.305-08:002010-03-03T07:07:11.305-08:00Hi Jeff -- The block is a crafter's plaque bou...Hi Jeff -- The block is a crafter's plaque bought at Hobby Lobby or Michaels for $3.00. I think its pine. I'm really amazed at how its holding up to detail. Hopefully it will do well in the printing process. If so, I'll be glad because its readily available plank wood and comes sanded. I plan on printing it today and will make a post about the progress and results. But I do want to say that cherry plank is still my ultimate favorite.Bette Norcross Wappner --https://www.blogger.com/profile/04458670015305220788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-287754040463419063.post-64358205736159730782010-03-03T06:30:33.023-08:002010-03-03T06:30:33.023-08:00I love that wood.
